Steve adds the role of president of FAWA Board of Directors, in addition to his Mocco Wrestling Academy, where he coaches youth and high school wrestlers at American Top Team in Coconut Creek.

MOCCO EXCITED ABOUT NEW ROLE
Steve Mocco, a former USA Olympic wrestler and a 2x NCAA Champion, was elected President of the Florida Amateur Wrestling Association during its Annual Meeting held in Dania Beach during August.
Mocco, who has been active for over 25 years in USA Wrestling, is excited to take on this new leadership position.
“After traveling around the world competing for Team USA, I am looking forward to sharing my wrestling knowledge with our members and bringing prominence to wrestling in Florida athletics. I am eager to give back to the sport that has provided so many opportunities in my life.”
